Stumps ground below the surface so you can plant or mow over them.

We grind stumps down below the ground so you can plant grass, put in a bed, or mow right over the spot. A grinder chews the stump and main surface roots into wood chips. No digging up the yard.

Stumps left in the ground sprout new shoots, rot slowly for years, and can attract termites and ants. Grinding is the fastest way to get the yard back.

Questions

Common questions.

Don't see yours? Call or text (678) 491-1254.

How deep do you grind?

Below the ground surface so grass and plants can grow over it. Tell us if you need it deeper for a patio or footing and we'll plan for that.

Can you grind a stump in the backyard?

Usually, yes. Let us know how wide your gate is so we bring a grinder that fits.

What happens to the roots?

The stump and the big roots near it are ground up. Smaller roots farther out rot away on their own over time.

Should I grind the stump or just leave it?

If it's in the way, sprouting, or attracting bugs, grind it. If it's out of sight in the woods, leaving it is fine.
